Find Your Way to University Place

The University Place Hotel & Conference Center is located on the southwest corner of SW 4th Avenue & Lincoln Street (see map, right).

We offer on-site parking for a fee (see below).Our urban location and close proximity to PSU campus makes using alternative transportation a great way to get to us without paying for parking.

Driving and Parking

If you prefer to drive and park, the interactive Google Map below can provide you with directions to the hotel from anywhere. Just click on the "Get Directions To Here" link on the map.

Upon arrival, parking is available in one of University Place's 239 on-site spaces, including ADA parking spaces for conference attendees and their guests. Refer to Transportation & Parking Services Visitor Information for current hourly and daily rates at University Place.

Alternative Transportation

Trimet provides light-rail and bus service throughout the Portland Metro area. If you are coming from the airport, this is the general transit route:

1. At the PDX Airport Terminal , Board MAX Red Line to City Center & Beaverton TC.
2. Get off at Morrison/SW 3rd Avenue stop (downtown Portland).
3. Walk one block north (to the right) along 3rd Avenue to SW 3rd & Alder.
4. Board line 17 Holgate.
5. Get off at SW 1st & Lincoln.
6. Walk west (to the right) along Lincoln Street, and University Place is on your left-hand side.

These instructions will work for most weekday & weekend arrivals at the airport; the entire trip will take about 40 minutes.

If you will be arriving on a holiday, Sunday, or late at night, we recommend you use Trimet's Trip Planner for customized directions (enter "PDX Airport" as the starting address and "310 SW Lincoln St" as the destination address).
